Beef Rendang
You can’t say you’ve been to Chopstix & Rice without having tried their award-winning Beef Rendang ($15.90). What’s their secret? Well, it’s their chilli paste that has been passed down for generations, Cuts of beef are slow-cooked with this paste to give an amazing tenderness to the meat. Pair it with some rice and you’ll be reaching for the next bite almost immediately.
Sayur Lodeh & Kacang Botol
For something a little healthier, here are two offerings – Sayur Lodeh and Kacang Botol. The Sayur Lodeh ($9.90) features tofu, long beans, cabbage, and turnips cooked in a rich coconut stew. As for the Kacang Botol ($9.90), the dish introduces the perfect pairing of winged beans and fresh chillis, giving an incredible contrast of herbaceous and spicy flavours in each bite.
ChendolÂ
No meal is complete without dessert and that’s their Chendol ($4.90) when at Chopstix & Rice.A mountain of ice is generously topped with coconut milk, green flour jelly, red beans, and gula melaka. it’s the perfect dessert to cool off with on a hit day!
New Seasonal Dish With Ongoing Promotion
During this month, Chopstix & Rice will also be unveiling a seasonal dish – Nasi Kuning. Using turmeric, it gives the rice a stunning yellow hue. The rice is also cooked with an array of other ingredients including onion, ginger, evaporated milk and pandan leaves.
Offered in sets for two and four pax, they are served with six and nine must-try offerings respectively. Sides include Beef Rendang, Sambal Prawns, Satay Chicken, Sambal Quail Eggs, and more!
