It appears that one of the most well-received fast-food chain, A&W, is now joining the list of being Halal certified. Unlike the usual route of making an announcement, this was announced by the Halal certification firm instead. Here’s all you need to know!
A&W Singapore Is Now Officially Halal
On 10th November 2020, Halal Hub Consultants, a firm that specialises in Halal certification made an announcement on its social media platform. On the post, it was stated that A&W Singapore is officially Halal certified, in accordance with MUIS Halal certification. Additionally, it was mentioned that there are two outlets located in Singapore.
The first highly successful opening was in Jewel Changi Airport, followed by another AMK Hub. The post also mentioned that the fast-food chain will be opening another outlet strategically located at Canberra Plaza. However, the date of the opening was not stated in the post. Over a couple of years, the return of A&W has been positively greeted by many Singaporeans, with long queues during the first opening.
