If you’re looking for an authentic Irish gastropub experience, the newly reopened Tilly’s at Keong Saik Road is just the spot to head. Previously at East Coast, the new Tilly’s now offers a refreshed menu featuring signature Irish gastropub fare complemented by Chef Andrew Walsh’s favourite comfort food that he enjoys cooking and eating at home.
Tilly Reopens At Keong Saik
The owner of Michelin-starred restaurant CURE, Chef Andrew’s vision for Tilly’s consists of a menu that beautifully blends signatures from Tilly’s East Coast and Butcher Boy Bar & Grill with exclusive, novel items, all reflecting an unmistakably Irish dining experience. Tilly aims to carry forward their cherished brand spirit, emphasizing hospitality and going the extra mile.
Tilly’s aims to capture the vibrant ambience of an Irish Pub. Through carefully curated frames and strategically placed television sets, it immerses guests in the heart of Ireland, carefully coloured to life with vintage photographs depicting the spirit of old Irish towns, blended with contemporary snapshots of lively pub scenes.
The televisions not only showcase live sports but also feature visuals highlighting Ireland’s landscapes and cultural richness. Combined with the soulful sounds of Irish music, the interior captures the essence of Irish hospitality, ensuring each visit to Tilly’s is a brief escape to the warmth and camaraderie of an authentic Irish Pub.

New And Refreshed Tilly’s
Embark on a culinary journey with Tilly’s, where each dish is a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Ireland. Offering more than just meals, the menu showcases a selection of traditional Irish savoury pies, sausage rolls, and hearty comfort foods that capture the essence of Irish home-cooked goodness.
The ala carte menu kicks off with a variety of bar bites, featuring the Tayto Toasties ($12), layered with Irish ham and cheddar cheese, served with Tayto crisps, and the Irish Soda Bread ($12), slices of Kilpatrick Signature Irish Bread made with Guinness used to sandwich and grill a rarebit of cheddar cheese and mustard before being torched for smokiness.
Don’t miss out on the Beer-Battered Fish & Chips ($32), featuring hand-cut chips, mushy peas, and tartare sauce, as well as the Wagyu Beef Cheek & Guinness Pot Pie ($36), presenting an elevated rendition of the traditional dish with premium Wagyu cooked in Guinness beer, served alongside Colcannon mash.
Pasta enthusiasts will find delight in the Dublin Lawyer Crab Pasta ($30), featuring squid ink tagliatelle in a rich lobster bisque. Traditionally prepared with lobster in whiskey cream sauce, the dish is named after the city’s affluent lawyers and their fondness for whiskey.
For burger lovers, the Tilly’s Wagyu Burger ($28) offers a savoury experience, dressing up a juicy Wagyu beef patty with Irish cheddar cheese and bacon, and completing the meal with a side of fries.
Elevate your indulgence with Natural Irish Oysters (from $3 per piece, minimum order of 2 pieces of the same type) sourced from Chef Andrew’s hometown of Achill Island, County Mayo. Enjoy these delectable oysters with a black vinegar mignonette, adding a punch instead of regular white vinegar, or a Kilpatrick sauce — an Irish blend of barbecue, tomato, and tabasco.
For a local touch, savour the Irish Oyster Omelette, where a fresh oyster is crowned with tarragon, Avruga caviar, and a mix of chives, apple, and celery before the whole creation is torched right in front of you.
From the grill, indulge in options like the Grilled Whole Seabass ($42), expertly cooked over an open fire and served with a rich yellow curry and coconut. If steak is your preference, the Black Angus Ribeye is available in two sizes – $38 for 300g or $65 for 600g, and you can have it slathered with your choice of yuzu bearnaise or pepper sauce.
For those who prefer lamb, the Grilled Lamb Rack ($48) is rubbed with a robust coat of red curry for an extra layer of flavour.
For smaller bites, enjoy options such as the Chicken & Prawn Dumplings ($14) served with a laksa sauce or the Tuna Ceviche ($22), perfected with coconut vinegar and a jalapeno slaw. Embracing a tapas-style approach, the Beetroot Cured Salmon ($32) features plump Irish salmon cured in beetroot, accompanied by apple celeriac remoulade. This dish is served with potato flatbread and bacon butter, allowing you to assemble and bite into it like a small open-faced sandwich.
Satisfy your taste buds with a variety of Baos ($16) featuring flavours like Iberico Pork & Foie Gras, Fried Chicken & Yuzu, or Warm Chilli Crab Mantou Buns. For those with carb cravings, indulge in sides such as golden and crunchy Skinny Fries ($12) or fragrant Truffle Parmesan Cheese Fries ($14).
Alternatively, opt for greens like the Szechuan Brussels Sprouts ($16), loaded with chicken skin, garlic, and chili, or the Kale Waldorf Salad ($12/$24), served with pomegranate, Irish Cashel blue cheese, and spiced walnuts.
Indulge in sweet endings that are truly decadent, particularly the Signature Sticky Toffee Pudding ($16), served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For a delightful blend of sweet and savoury, savour the Grilled Tipperary Brie Cheese ($18) paired with apricot jam, truffle honey, and crackers.
An Irish Sunday Roast
Make Sundays special by enjoying a Sunday Roast with the whole family, served every Sunday from 12pm to 5pm at Tilly’s. Embrace a celebration of flavour and tradition as masterfully prepared roasts guarantee that each Sunday becomes a delightful culinary journey for you and your family.
For starters, Tilly offers the Roast Cauliflower with Irish Cheddar Cheese Sauce & Pine Nuts ($28) before the main attractions take center stage in choices of chicken, beef, or a combination of both. The Roast Chicken with Sage & Onion Stuffing ($38) promises a whole bird of juicy goodness, while the Roast Striploin Beef & Horseradish ($38) will satisfy all meat lovers. Each dish is accompanied by gravy, roast potatoes, Szechuan Brussels sprouts, miso carrot mash, and Yorkshire pudding.
A Taste Of Ireland On Tap
Enjoy a wide selection of beers and ciders on tap, bringing you the best flavours of the EmeraldIsle. Each sip from the Guinness Irish Stout to the Magners Irish Cider is an invitation to immerse yourself in the authentic tastes of Ireland.
