Ingredients for deep frying: 1 cup tapioca starch, 1 cup corn starch, 2 Tbsp Bestari crispy fried chicken coating mix, 1 Tbsp black pepper, 1 egg

Step 1: Cut up your sotong into bite size pieces. Mix all dry ingredients in a big bowl.

Step 2: In a separate bowl, beat the egg. Place sotong into the egg mixture.

Step 3: Then, dredge the sotong in flour. On the side, prepare wok filled with oil.

Step 4: Ensure oil is hot before placing in the sotong. Deep-fry sotong till golden brown.
