Subway Releases Chicken Tandoori Sub & Bandung Cookie

Hailing from Punjab, India, Tandoori Chicken was popularised in the 1940s. Marinated with a medley of ingredients and spices including yogurt, cayenne pepper, red chilli powder, garlic, ginger, onion, and garam masala, this scrumptious dish’s name is derived from the cylindrical clay oven it is cooked in. It has since become a popular dish in Singapore, South Asia, and the Middle East.

While tandoori chicken is usually served bone-in, Subway’s Chicken Tandoori sub features tender chicken strips glazed in aromatic seasoning. The tasty sub is best paired with crispy lettuce, cucumber, and red onion for the perfect crunch. Additionally, you can even let your creative juices flow by having it as a sub, salad, or wrap with your own medley of vegetables and sauces!

The Chicken Tandoori Sub is priced from $8.50 for a 6-inch and $14 for a footlong ala carte. 

In celebration of the Hari Raya Season, Subway has given their popular cookies a local twist with the Bandung Cookie! Enjoy a delightfully chewy burst of rose syrup sweetness that’s reminiscent of everyone’s favourite drink,
