There’s yet another activity to add to your list of places to go and things to do in Singapore! Sports enthusiasts will be happy to learn that you can now plan a cycling trip to St John’s and Lazarus Island with the opening of a bicycle rental kiosk on the Southern Island of Singapore.
St John’s Island Bike Kiosk Opening Oct 14
Launched by one of Sentosa’s businesses, Gogreen, the bike station was initially part of a successful trial that ran till September 2021. The kiosk has since been awarded a tender by the Sentosa Development Corporation. This enables the bike kiosk to stay on St John’s Island for the next two years.
Bicycles, Kick Scooters, And Tents For Rent
The new attraction, called Gogreen @ St John’s Island, will commence on Oct 14. Located a short five-minute walk away from St John’s Island Pier, cyclists can plan a route starting from St John’s Island before journeying over to the adjacent Lazarus Island. The two islands are connected by a bridge.
Visitors can rent a bicycle for two hours for $25. Kick scooters are also available for rent at the same price. Other retail items such as beach mats, tents, and kites can also be rented at an additional price.
