Serving up mainly three items- Roti Prata, Thosai, and Murtabak, the stall offers them in your classic versions like egg prata, cheese prata, egg thosai, masala thosai and mutton murtabak. Although they have such a wide selection of dishes to choose from, it is definitely their masala thosai that draws the queues to their stall.

The Masala Thosai is served at an affordable price point of only $3 and comes with a spicy chutney and a side of curry. Although the thosai is crispy, it lacks the crispiness you would typically expect which you can tell from the lack of browning around the edges. It does however have a fluffy interior, giving it a nice plus point. The masala is made with potatoes, onions, chillies, carrots and an array of spices, making it really flavourful with a pleasant kick of heat. As the potatoes are in slightly different sizes from one another, the smaller and softer ones give a touch of creaminess while the bigger chunks give an extra bite to the thosai.

Going for the mutton curry, it is really flavourful and has a slight tang to it. Additionally, you can taste the gaminess in the curry, yet it isn’t too overpowering, making it palatable for most people. For those looking to work up a sweat, be sure to go for the spicy chutney. It has a delightful kick of spice with a slightly grainy texture. from the chilli seeds. As the spice lingers, it makes each bite seriously addictive! Coupled with the heat from the masala and curry, each bite is an incredible medley of flavours and spices that’ll leave you wanting more!
