Eng’s Heritage is not your regular coffee shop! Located in a mall, they bring together hawker stalls that are at risk of disappearing. Their atmosphere will also take you back to your childhood days! Here’s all the must-try food here from these amazing traditional hawker stalls:

1. Eng’s Wantan Noodles

Of course, we had to try their popular wantan noodles. In 1950’s, Eng’s Wantan Noodles began in Joo Chiat on a tricycle-converted pushcart. They were able to move to bigger shops throughout the years. Their char siew is filled with flavour and it complements their springy noodles well!

The Wantan noodles also come with their special spicy sauce! But you have been warned, it truly is spicy! Even their bottle comes with a bright yellow warning for all to see. While the Wantan noodles taste flavourful as it is, their homemade spicy sauce adds a kick to the dish!

2. Teochew Handmade Pau (Michelin-Guide)

Finish off your meal with a small bite from Teochew Handmade Pau. While there are so many stalls around Singapore that sells pau, this particular stall has been selling since 1993! Their paus come small and delicate, however do not be fooled, they are jam packed with flavour! They are also handmade fresh everyday.

Eng’s Heritage is also home to Zhong Zhong Ngoh Hiang! They offer Teochew-style Ngoh Hiang selections that are quick bites and flavoured snacks, best eaten with its savoury-sweet chilli sauce!
