Another day, another noteworthy spot to visit in Singapore.
Meng Hui Satay Bee Hoon At Albert Centre
If you love local food, you would probably know that there are some street food that can be found in many hawker spots, and there are some that are harder to find. Here’s one – Satay Bee Hoon. If it is something that you have been craving for, Meng Hui Satay Bee Hoon is definitely worth your visit.
Operated in Albert Centre for more than 30 years, the owner of Meng Hui Satay Bee Hoon, Mr. Chua, has forgotten about the exact year he had started his business. Throughout the years, this spot has been well-received by locals and tourists alike.
Notable for its thick peanut gravy, smooth noodles, and fresh seafood, a plate of Satay Bee Hoon is tough work for the ‘gram. After all, it is hard to see all the ingredients when the entire plate is drenched with luscious peanut gravy. Nonetheless, the wholesome dish is worth every penny. A plate ranges from $4.50 to $6.50 depending on the sizes.
