Hello, everyone! Here’s a well-known fact, most of us love Japanese food! No, it doesn’t stop at sushi and ramen, our love of Japanese food goes beyond measure. It is no wonder Japanese outlets such as Don Don Donki is sprouting like mushrooms all over Singapore. Here’s another big news coming our way! Japanese supermarket, Meidi-Ya, will be opening another outlet with a bang!
Meidi-Ya’s 2-Storey Flagship Outlet At Millenia Walk
It was recently announced that Meidi-Ya will be opening its flagship outlet in Singapore on 25th November 2020. The latest outlet will have two floors, and it spans over 24,000 square feet. On the first floor, you will find a bakery and a food hall (known for sashimi!). Feast on popular Japanese dishes and beverages at Japanese Cafe and Bar, and buy snacks from Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza!
Of course, Gokoku Japanese Bakery will be making an appearance. Currently, it has two outlets in Singapore located in Great World City and Jurong Point. With all of these located on the first floor, head up to the second floor to explore the new supermarket. Can’t wait? Well, there’s one section open to the public already. But, it’s not for everyone. The wine and liquor store has already opened.
Opening On 25th November 2020
It has more than 700 types of liquors from different countries around the world. Be impressed, as there are more than 270 types of sake, including the notable Dassai sake from Yamaguchi.
