The Lobster Nasi Lemak is served with a lobster tail, a bed of fragrant coconut rice, ikan bilis, a fried egg, and a generous portion of their sambal chilli. Although some parts of the rice are slightly clumpy, the taste of the coconut shines through with each bite while the crispy ikan bilis adds a delightful layer of crunchiness and umami.

The sambal definitely stands out, adding a pleasant layer of sweetness while seriously packing a punch. Spicier than your typical nasi lemak sambal, it builds and lingers, yet you can’t help but go back for more! For those that can’t really handle their spice, you might want to have an ice-cold drink beside you when eating this.

As for the highlight of the dish, the lobster is perfectly cooked, giving it a nice bouncy texture without being rubbery. Doused with nacho cheese, it is then torched to give a nice layer of smokiness. The Nacho cheese does however have a strong artificial taste which might not appeal to some.  Pairing it with the sambal definitely helps to give a better balance of flavours while adding a good kick of heat.
