Chinese New Year is fast approaching and IKEA Singapore is wasting no time in launching a series of festive eats to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year! Fresh from the kitchen, these limited-edition festive dishes can be found at IKEA’s Swedish Restaurant and Swedish Food Market from Jan 3 to 23, 2023.
IKEA Releasing NEW Festive Menu For Upcoming Lunar New Year
Welcome the New Year with CNY Rabbit Bun With Red Bean Filling ($2.80). An adorable and fun treat to sweeten your festive spread, these bunnies will be a great addition to any party. Another festive goodie you’ll find this year is Bak Kwa, which comes in a 500g box that retails at $25.80.
Yummy Rabbit Buns, Prosperity Cat Macaron, And More Available From Jan 3!
If you’re looking for desserts to wrap up your meal, there’s the Prosperity Cat Macaron, an incredibly yummy-looking dessert on a stick that will set you back $5.80 each.
The newest and most luxurious menu item at IKEA is the Half Lobster And Organic Spaghetti With Chilli Crab Sauce ($15). Pair with a serving of the crispy Pork Dumpling ($3), which comes in a set of five pieces, for a hearty meal.
Those on a strict vegan diet will also be delighted to know that there’s something for them on this exciting CNY menu. A meat-free version of fish and chips. try IKEA’s Plant-Based Golden Fillet And Fries ($7).
What’s more! From 26 December 2022 till 8 January 2023, IKEA Family members will also get to enjoy their famous Swedish Meatballs With Mashed Potato And Mushroom Soup at a discounted price of $12.90 (U.P.$14.90), while the Gooey Cake and Nordic Fruit Water combo will go for $2.50 instead of $4.
Do also note that the CNY restaurant dishes will be available from January 3 to February 28,2023. While the CNY cookies at the Swedish Food Market are sold from January 3 to 23, 2023.
