Good news, i Light Singapore returns once again and will be held at the Marina Bay district. Expanding to two new locations – South Beach and Millenia Walk, this year’s theme is “A New Wave”. The event will last till June 25.
i Light Singapore Returns With Stunning Installations
1. Glacier Dreams
The ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands will feature a large-scale projection called Glacier Dreams on its exterior. Aiming to increase awareness of rising sea levels and climate change, the artwork turns visual data on the glaciers into artificial intelligence-based multi-sensory narratives.
2. Trumpet Flowers
Located at Clifford Square, Trumpet Flowers features flower sculptures ranging from 2m to 6m tall. The interactive art invites visitors to create a special sound and light show based on their emotions.
3. Block Party
In the interactive installation Block Party, familiar public housing facades are covered in gardens that grow on their own.
4. Bleached
Constructed by students from Nanyang Technological University’s School of Art, Design, and Media, Bleached features a simulated ocean floor with “seaweed” and “corals” that are either made from bioplastics generated from seaweed or recycled from single-use plastics.
Show III
Show III is an installation designed by students from James Cook University and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. It uses audio-visual effects to imitate the feeling of taking a shower and to create a space for introspection, including consideration of our water consumption.

The event this year will also feature a new immersive light experience at The Promontory. embark on an adventure to a future where rising sea levels have submerged humans in an underwater world.
Admission tickets to this installation can be purchased via Klook for $5 per ticket.
GastroBeats
GastroBeats is the festival village for i Light Singapore. The festival will last for the entire month of June and will be home 50 homegrown F&B vendors. Enjoy various forms of entertainment such as bouncy castles and live performances by musicians including 53A and Tabula.
While general admission to the Festival Village is free, charges do apply for selected activities.
