It’s time to say goodbye. Well-known cafe Forty Hands announced its closure in a bittersweet farewell Facebook post on Sep 6. While no clear reason was given, its last day at both Tiong Bahru and East Coast outlets will be on Sep 12.
Forty Hands To Close Down After 12-Year Run
First opened in October 2010, Forty Hands brought Australian cafe culture into Singapore with its specialty coffee brews and widespread of brunch options. Made from a curated selection of unique house blends and single origins, the cafe’s coffee menu alongside its classic Aussie-style brunch fare and a delicious range of Asian-inspired food quickly gained popularity among the locals.
Where To Get Your Next Brew
While Forty Hands will most certainly be missed dearly, coffee lovers and breakfast aficionados can still get their brunch favourites from its sister brand, Common Man Coffee Roasters, at Joo Chiat or Martin Road.
