The infamous Hokkaido dessert stick cream puff, Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku will be opening its very first outlet right here in S’pore. First Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku To Open in S’pore
First of all, Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku originates from Hokkaido, Japan. It is undeniable that Japan is home to many infamous yet delectable desserts. Though it originates from Japan, this dessert joint has spread its wings over to several other countries such as Thailand, Taiwan, Korea and more.
This time around, they will be making their way to Singapore! Woohoo! Now we no longer need to travel over to Japan or Thailand for this snack anymore.
Now, let’s take a more in-depth look as to what this dessert joint is commonly known for. Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku serves a wide array of Softserve as well as Japanese Cream Puffs. However, they are famous because of this one particular unique sweet: ZakuZaku. Essentially, it is a Japanese-style stick cream puff.
The crispy, or ‘croquet’ shells are almonds that are coated with sugar and egg white. In addition to that, the best part is that each Zakuzaku has a custard-cream filling made from fresh, Hokkaido Milk.
(1) pc of Zakuzaku is priced at $2.80 but get (4) pcs at only $10.50. Definitely worth a shot.
If it already sounds super good, we can bet the queue for Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku will be insanely long too. As for now, the only info we have is that they will be opening their first outlet right here at ION Orchard. But, there are no confirmation as to the exact opening date. Word is out there that it will open in November 2019.
