With Singapore’s weather being extremely hot these days, you can consider getting one of their popular choices – Ice Kachang ($3.00) to cool down!  With various ingredients such as atap seeds and coloured jelly, this is a refreshing dessert! You also don’t have to worry about the ice being too hard to bite into, as the ice here is thinly shaved and melts in your mouth without too much chewing needed.

A popular hot dessert at Lit Lit Xin Dessert is Bobo Chacha! Some bobo chacha served at other stalls can be a tad too sweet making it difficult to enjoy this hot dessert, however not here! Lit Lit Sin Dessert’s bobo chacha comes with different ingredients such as sweet potato, taro, sago and even tapioca flour bits! What’s interesting about this dessert is that even though the ingredients are more or less quite bland on its own, the coconut milk base helps with giving these ingredients a pleasant sweeter taste!

If you’re someone who is not a big fan of coconut-based desserts, you can also give their Cheng Teng a try! It comes in both hot and cold! This dessert is made out of ingredients such as longan, gingko nuts, melon strips, barley, sago and a clear sweet base. This is also a healthier option as compared to other desserts due to its cooling and tonic properties! It’s the perfect dessert after a long day at work!
