Here is one of the most smashing news we had heard this year! Singapore is taking its first-ever step for an automated transport network. That’s right, it is happening right now until the end of April 2021. You are probably wondering, how can you get a ride?

Similar to other ride-hailing methods, the latest automated bus service can be booked through an app. For the current trial, the route circles around Singapore’s Science Park, a high-tech business hub. Available during off-peak hours, the ride is only $0.20.

If you are wondering how does an automated bus service works, the company that made it created mapping software to guide the vehicle. You will be excited to know that the bus service is eco-friendly considering that it is fully electric.

Previously, there are automated vehicles around Singapore, but this is the very first that will be charging a passenger fee. At the beginning of the year, there were automated road-sweeping vehicles in Singapore.

Will You Be Getting On A Ride?
