Good news Westies, known for their roasted meats, Roast Paradise will be opening their first outlet in the West at 132 Jurong Gateway on Dec 21.
Roast Paradise Opening First Outlet In The West
First opened in 2015, Roast Paradise’s main outlet at Old Airport Road Food Cen remains a popular go-to spot for locals and tourists to this day.
Renowned for their char siew, it is first cooked in a drum under charcoal for three hours. It is then coated with a sweet sauce to give it a beautiful layer of caramelization. Cooked Kuala Lumpur style, fattier cuts of meats are used and roasted for a longer period. This makes the meat incredibly tender and gives it a perfectly caramelized and smoky exterior.
Indulge in the best of both worlds with the Roast Pork & Char Siew Rice. The char siew features a layer of fats that melt in your mouth and is beautifully caramelized, with the charred edges adding a layer of bitterness and crunch. While the sweetness of the marinade is prominent, it doesn’t overpower the pork, still allowing its natural flavour to shine through.
The Roast Pork has a pleasant layer of fats and the skin is crispy, but is a tad salty, making it best paired with rice. It is however still tender and juicy, making it your above-average roast pork.
Roast Paradise offers roast duck as well, giving you three choices of roasted meat to indulge in.
If the West is a little too far for you, fret not as they also have outlets at Sengkang and Tampines as well. Hurry down from Dec 21 onwards!
