Coffee Tulip At Novena Is Run By Elderlies In Their 70s
Tucked in Royal Square in Novena, there is a cafe that is run by elderlies in their 70s. Started in 2018, Coffee Tulip is a humble cafe started by a family. The simple cafe looks welcoming, with touches of white and blues all over. Step inside, and you will be welcomed by the front counter, with mouthwatering dishes plastered on the side of the walls.
Part of the family, Uncle Lawrence, mentioned that it was the brainchild of his handicapped daughter. The rest of the family had decided to join forces to make it come true. One of the unique selling points of Coffee Tulip is the affordable price. Be surprised, as main dishes are priced less than $10.
Dishes including Garlic Fried Rice with Seafood and Homemade Soup ($8.90), Braised Pork Chop with Rice and Homemade Soup ($8.90), Kimchi Fried Rice with Seafood and Homemade Soup, Fried Bee Hoon ($3.70), and Chee Cheong Fun ($3).
