The brand-new refurnished Funan opened at the end of last month with a bang. With it came many new concept stores and flagship stores, like Dyson, Brompton Junction and more. Coming this 14 July 2019, a ‘premium’ Daiso store, Threeppy will be opening its first outlet in Singapore at Funan! Unlike Daiso that sells everything for $2, Threeppy goods will be slightly more expensive, but still very affordable!

$5.80 Store Threeppy Opening At Funan

Threeppy may seem like an odd name, but it comes from their tagline, “300 and happy”. This Daiso-owned brand sells their items for 300 yen in Japan, which amounts to roughly $4 in Singapore. It is said that most of the items that will be sold at Threeppy Singapore will go for $5.80.

This ‘upscale’ Daiso will mimic the likes of Miniso, with similarly-styled items. However, the items will mostly be priced at $5.80. Many are saying that Threeppy will give Miniso a run for its money!

Currently, there are 22 Threeppy outlets in Japan. But that’s not enough! They’re planning to expand 30 stores every year. It seems that it has plans to expand out of Japan, since it’s first store outside Japan is landing on our sunny island!
